The government has recently released KES 3.2 billion in payments to Inua Jamii programme beneficiaries for June 2024. This brings the total number of beneficiaries to 1,607,996, up from 1,037,733 in May 2024. The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has also announced that payment will commence on July 3, 2024, to all beneficiaries, including those recently onboarded to the programme, via their bank accounts.
