The Government rolled out the hustler fund on November 30, 2022, here’s how to apply for the funds. They are available to individuals, groups, small enterprises, and co-operatives.
The loan limits will be a minimum of Ksh500 up to a maximum of Ksh50,000.00 with an interest rate capped at 8% per annum.
Requirements To Get Hustler Fund
To apply for the hustler fund Kenyans should meet the following requirements;
- Be a permanent Kenyan resident.
- At least 18 years old.
- Have a valid Good Conduct certificate.
- Low-income bracket group.
- Be members of any of the credit societies or investment groups that will act as their guarantors.
How to Apply For Hustler Fund
If you meet the above requirements, you can apply for the hustler loan. Here is the application process for the hustler funds;
- Dial *254# from any network
- Register
- Choose loan product
- You will see your Hustler fund loan limit.
- Select the amount to borrow
- Enter mobile money PIN
- Confirm the request
You will receive 95% of hustler funds borrowed, and 5% will be added to your savings
How To Apply For Hustler Fund Via Safaricom App
- Download and Install M-Pesa App,
- Register with your Safaricom number
- Go to Growth Tab.
- Choose a loan product.
- You will see your loan limit
- Select the amount to borrow
- Enter MPesa PIN and confirm the request
- You will receive the funds.
