Just weeks after WhatsApp announced the new feature that will let users choose to automatically delete messages after seven days, we are going to show you how to set it up.
The new option is inactive by default but users can easily turn it on by either chatting with a user or by an admin in a group chat.
Procedure;
- Open your WhatsApp application on your phone
- Select any chat you’d want to set the feature
- Tap on the user’ profile
- Scroll down to “disappearing messages“
- Tap on it to set it to on
The new feature will automatically delete older messages after seven days once turned on.
