You can easily send packages via uber using Uber Connect service which allows users to send items across town. The package arrives in the time it takes to drive there.
How it works:
- Download the Uber App
- Tap the Packages icon in the Uber app.
- Enter your delivery information and request an Uber Connect trip.
- Load your package into the vehicle when the driver arrives for pickup.
According to Uber, the maximum package weight and maximum package value restrictions vary by region.
Prohibited items include alcohol, medication, recreational drugs, and dangerous or illegal items.
Violations may be reported to authorities. If the recipient is not available to receive the package, the driver-partner may contact you to resolve the issue. Uber does not maintain insurance coverage for package loss, damage, or theft.
