YouTube has rolled out the beta version of a short-form video service dubbed shorts imaging the popular TikTok.
The Google-owned video streaming feature rolled out in India in September 2020 and has seen great success receiving up to 4 billion views in a day.
With the new roll-out, Google is looking to tackle TikTok head-on with this feature. Shorts will likely help creators tap into their audiences directly leveraging on the existing Youtube subscriber base.
