Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram Monday evening have been hit by an outage as users cannot be able to access the services.
The outage, lasting hours has seen users logging tens of thousands of outage reports for all three platforms from around the world.
The WhatsApp and Instagram apps continued to work but did not show new content, including any messages sent or received during the problems.
Facebook’s chief technology officer Mike Schroepfer apologized.
