Oppo has officially announced that the entry of its selfie-focused smartphone, A57 in the Kenyan Market.
According to Sky Li, OPPO VP and MD of International Mobile Business said the initiative has been widely accepted and the OPPO A57 will serve the mid-range budget segment as well as the high-end customers looking for highly sophisticated gadgets.
The new model will retail at Ksh 23,990, also has a Screen Flash and an f/2.0 aperture to ensure bright, vivid shots even in low-light and back-lit conditions.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD display with a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution along with a 2.5D curved glass display.
It is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone includes an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
Running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0 on top, the Oppo A57 comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, LED flash along with a 16MP front facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. A 2900mAh battery completes the package.
