WhatsApp introduces new storage feature to help you save space

WhatsApp has rolled out a redesigned storage management tool to help its users to identify and bulk delete large files that are taking up space.

In a Youtube video posted by the mobile messaging company, they said that they have made it easy to review, bulk delete items and free up space.

The new tool merges large files and media that have been “forwarded many times” so that you can easily identify content that you don’t need or want anymore.

The new storage management tool can be found in Settings > Storage and Data > Manage Storage.

Alternatively, users can immediately access the function by tapping on the in-app notification banner above the chat list when WhatsApp detects that the device’s storage is running low.
